Supporting California's Fallen Firefighter Families

The magnitude of the Arizona disaster stunned the fire service in California, as five native sons of the Golden State were among those lost that horrific day in Arizona.

The California Last Alarm Service Team (Cal LAST), a service of the California Fire Foundation, was mobilized and designated by the California Emergency Management Agency to coordinate the Memorial Ramp Ceremony honoring the return of California's fallen heroes -- Christopher MacKenzie and Kevin Woyjeck.

A partnership with the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation Cal LAST provides comprehensive support for local fire departments and local unions touched by a line of duty death.
