Battling the Butte Lightning Complex Near Paradise -- July 8

It was the lull between the storms, as the Paradise Fire blew through dozens of homes near Concow on the morning of July 8.

More than two dozen homes were left in its wake, the most recent destruction in nearly three-week long Butte Lightning Complex of fires.
