Local 372 Member Elected to Full Term as IAFF Western Trustee

A CPF Trustee and proud member of Long Beach Firefighters Local 372  has won decisive re-election as the IAFF Western Trustee.

Tony Mejia won an overwhelming vote during the IAFF Convention in Las Vegas this week. Mejia was first elected IAFF Western Trustee in February, winning a vote to complete the term of Trustee Bob Greenwood, who died in January. His election this month is to a full term.

Tony has always fought hard on behalf of our members, and has been a dedicated CPF Trustee,” said Lou Paulson, CPF President. “We’re proud that he’ll bring the same dedication and leadership to our IAFF brothers and sisters throughout the West.

Brother Mejia has worked hard for firefighters across the great state of California,” says IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger. “The IAFF Western Region is sure to benefit from his outstanding ability to lead and his unwavering dedication to fire fighters and issues important to them.

Tony has been a CPF Trustee since 1996.

Congratulations, Tony!
