Election 2010: Making Your Voice Count
For much of the last decade, the "boom and bust" cycles of California's economy have translated into attacks aimed at public services in general, and firefighters.
Now, more than ever, firefighters need to get politically active, to protect what we've earned.
California Professional Firefighters is committed to candidates that stand up for our values and the issues that matter to front line first responders:
- Resources to protect our citizens
- Secure retirement and health care for a dangerous career
- On-the-job safety, to keep deaths and injuries down
- Strong employee protections, to safeguard the rights of front line firefighters
- Bargaining rights, so your voice is heard at every step of the process.
