The Employee Free Choice Act
Show your support for the Employee Free Choice Act by sending a letter to Senator Feinstein.
We are asking you to send letters to Senator Diane Feinstein asking her to support the Employee Free Choice Act (HR 1409). This bill was introduced by Congressman George Miller on March 10, 2009. It is an important peice of legislation to ensure the rights of workers throughout the country because:
- We need Good Jobs to Re-Build the Economy
- When workers organize a union they can bargain for fair wages and benefits
- Companies like WalMart are driving down wages and benefits and fight every attempt by their workers to form a union
- Corporations and CEO's hold all the power and fire, harass, threaten their workers who try to form unions
- Workers need a fair chance to form a union - they should have a choice of majority sign up or an election
- The Employee Free Choice Act will level the playing field and restore fairness to workers
- Please send a letter to Senator Diance Feinstein asking for her support of the bills.
